Beschrijving werkgever Zimmerman & Zimmerman provides (open) data services for organisations working on aid transparency and accountability within the humanitarian sector. We have developed the open-source data-engine OIPA (https://www.ictergezocht.nl/) which enables raw XML files to be transformed into a normalised datastore, enabling our clients and partners to access over USD100 billion of development aid data annotated in the IATI XML Standard (https://www.ictergezocht.nl/ ). Using our bespoke Data Toolkit IATI Studio (https://www.ictergezocht.nl/ ) normalised XML can be accessed for visualising, analysing and comparing IATI data. We provide solutions to UNESCO, UN-Habitat, the UK and Dutch Government. Our days starts with a 08:45 standup with our team.

We work together with the following partners & clients:

UN Migration
UNESCO
Aids Foundation (Aids fonds)
Centre 4 Innovation, University of Leiden
Department for International Development
Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Netherlands Enterprise Agency
Oxfam Novib
UN-Habitat

We have developed, and maintain, the codebase for the data visualisation engine OIPA. Which renders IATI compliant XML for storage and re-use via its rich API endpoints. The data engine is open-source and has been published under the AGPL-license. It makes use of several technical components, which enable direct data transfer from any IATI dataset residing at the IATI registry to a local OIPA database. As soon as this data is available, the API will communicate with it, enabling one to search, publish, aggregate and visualise IATI data.
