Who you are

As a soldering operator in training, you're enthusiastic about this role and ready for this new challenge. It's also handy if you:

• Are available full-time.
• Are available in weeks 25/35/41 for the training.
• Speak and understand English or Dutch  or communication purposes.

What will you do

As a soldering operator in training, you'll be trained by a cool team of experienced solderers to become a fully-fledged soldering operator. What will you be soldering? You'll be placing components on circuit boards and securing them with special soldering techniques. And you'll be doing this in the department where electronic products are made for the government! How cool is that! The circuit boards you'll be soldering, for example, go into: radars, defense fighter jets, communication equipment. How cool is it that you get to do this!
You'll be trained in 3 weeks to work independently thereafter. The workdays are from Monday to Friday with starting times between 07:00 and 09:00, and you get to choose as a soldering operator in training! But please note: they plan to switch to 2 shifts. Keep this in mind.

Where will you work

Benchmark Electronics is located in Almelo. They also have locations worldwide, in Europe as well as in the USA and Asia! Benchmark mainly works for the medical, industrial, and aerospace sectors, as well as defense. They produce various electronic products for these industries. Think of companies like: Airbus, Siemens, and Thales. At Benchmark, you'll find yourself in a trendy and pleasant working environment where quality and enjoyment at work are paramount! You'll get it all as a soldering operator in training!
