In this dynamic role, you'll spearhead the development of cutting-edge mechatronic solutions for grooming and beauty products. From the inception of design concepts to mass production, you'll lead in a multidisciplinary team, shaping innovative solutions for personal care devices. Functieomschrijving

• Develop high-quality mechatronic designs, ensuring mass producibility in line with specifications.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team, steering product development, managing cross-functional aspects, and adhering to the V-model methodology.
• Define product and element requirements, conduct DFMEAs, and oversee the release of solutions for mass production.
• Drive ideation sessions, guide concept creation, and facilitate decision-making processes.
• Validate solutions through calculations, simulations, tolerance analysis, prototyping, and testing.
• Plan and prioritize work, managing interfaces with other modules/parts using an agile approach.
• Identify gaps and implement improvements to elevate the mechatronics development group.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechatronic product design for mass production.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and mechatronic design principles, including design for injection molding.
• Experience in (international) multi-disciplinary projects, preferably in Business to Consumer.
• Proficient in state-of-the-art development techniques, CAD (NX), and FEA (Ansys).
• Broad multi-disciplinary technological interest and knowledge.
• Quality-driven; experience with Design for Six Sigma (greenbelt certification is a plus).
• Conceptual mindset with the ability to balance innovation and practical realization.
• Determination in decision-making and independence.
• Ambitious with leadership talent.
