As an assembly technician, your primary duties involve carrying out various assembly tasks, conducting quality checks, and managing administrative responsibilities. You'll be responsible for verifying the accuracy of schedules, orders, associated documentation, and components. If necessary, you should report and record any deviations or issues in product quality to your supervisor or their substitute. Selecting the required components from the department's inventory for assembly work is also part of your role. Furthermore, you should identify any actual or potential shortages of components that are typically kept in stock in the department. Your tasks will be performed in accordance with established guidelines. You are also responsible for enforcing and ensuring compliance with both legal requirements and company policies and procedures related to safety, health, well-being, and environmental concerns to prevent unnecessary injuries or damage.
