As a Calibration Engineer, you'll be instrumental in designing diagnostic strategies to ensure OBD compliance for engine programs in both production and development phases. Functieomschrijving

• Develop calibrations for diagnosing existing and new combustion engine and aftertreatment components.
• Design diagnostic calibration strategies to maintain OBD compliance for engine programs.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure adherence to defined standards.
• Ensure that OBD system development and validation follow DAF process guidelines.
• Develop tools to control, maintain, and optimize processes and documentation.
• Translate OBD regulations to ensure compliance with DAF engine development.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Automotive, or Electrical Engineering with a passion for automotive or vehicle engineering.
• Mandatory knowledge of internal combustion engines, with a preference for diesel.
• Optional knowledge and experience with SAE 1939-71/73 CAN.
• Basic understanding of OBD regulation and OBD systems.
• Structured working approach with a collaborative mindset.
• Strong problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for tackling complex technical issues.
• Proactive attitude with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and organizations.
• Proficiency in MS-Office and Matlab.
• Mandatory proficiency in English, with a willingness to learn Dutch.
