Make your mark as Technical Warehouse Employee ROV for Boskalis Offshore Fleet Management

You can make your mark by providing timely technical support to the ROV Department. You will take care of the maintenance & repairs of the allocated ROV Equipment which is needed for our challenging Offshore projects. You will prepare the ROV equipment so that when needed everything is ready. In the role of Technical Warehouse Employee ROV you will organize, schedule, and report the execution of the maintenance works using the Maintenance management system of Boskalis. Furthermore you will ensure timely availability and documenting of relevant certificates, manuals and drawings.

Your responsibilities as Technical Warehouse Employee ROV

• Provide technical support to the ROV organization, from project preparations to operational support.
• Controlling internal ROV systems and tools requests, planning, and equipment deployment using ERP applications.
• Support on optimize maintenance plans on the right balance between performance, quality, and cost.
• Define execute and coordinate maintenance & repair works to the allocated equipment using internal resources and/or external subcontractors.
• To follow the instructions and execute the work method by adhering to the relevant company policies, QHSE procedures, and best practices from IMCA (International Marine Contractors Associate) as described.
• Proactively support Waalhaven Team in all aspects of day to day works. 

Your qualities and experience

To fulfill the position of Technical Warehouse Employee ROV you must be in the possession of:

• A fully completed secondary vocational education (MBO grade 4) in mechanical, electrical,  maritime or similar.
• For this position you have to live in the Netherlands.
• At least 3 years of technical knowledge and experience in maintenance of offshore,  maritime equipment and or ROV systems.
• You have in-depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and electronics. Dedicated ROV knowledge is desirable but not a must.
• Able to write technical reports and to read technical drawings.
• Experienced in Maintenance Management systems, ICT office applications and ERP.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Willingness to work abroad (if needed).

Extra information  

• Your team: You will be part of the Fleet Management team of Boskalis Offshore Energy which exists of approximately 100 professionals. You report into Boskalis Offshore Fleet Management - ROV Department.
• Where you will work: You will be based in our Waalhaven office in Rotterdam. In consultation with your manager, you might be able to work in the office Papendrecht. If needed you would also be on location of the ROV system(s) either vessel or abroad base location. On a day to day basis you will report to the ROV Asset Manager.
• Full/part-time job: The position of Technical Warehouse Employee ROV is a fulltime job (40 hours a week).
