What if you could play a pivotal role in shaping the future of power distribution in data centers? As an Electrical Interface Engineer, you'll dive into challenging projects, contributing to their engineering and realization alongside our dynamic project team.

Joining our tight-knit Electrical Engineering squad for data centers, comprised of approximately 20 skilled engineers, you'll be a key player in driving our growth forward.

Operating within the "Distribution Systems Data Centers" department, a hub of multidisciplinary project execution, you'll collaborate with a global team of around 100 engineers under the Smart Infrastructure division. We're at the forefront of sustainable, reliable, and efficient energy transmission and distribution solutions.

Your primary focus will be project realization. Collaborating closely with a Lead Engineer, you'll ensure precise technical output alongside our System Engineers.

Projects will encompass the full spectrum, from engineering and manufacturing to installation and commissioning of power distribution systems. Think medium- and low-voltage distributors, transformers, power distribution units, bus bar systems, digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, as well as modular solutions like E-Houses and Skids.

Your Tasks Include:

• Providing technical support to (Lead) Engineers within the project.
• Resolving outstanding issues and closing them administratively.
• Contributing to detailed designs of low- and medium-voltage distribution systems.
• Preparing work packages for installation and commissioning.
• Independently tackling technical challenges.
• Compiling Operations & Maintenance manuals.
• Reviewing technical documentation.
• Drafting technical specifications and RFQs.
• Delivering technical documentation to end customers.
• Managing and updating technical project documentation.
• Developing technical training courses.
• Creating test and inspection plans.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

Your Profile:

• Completed MBO degree in electrical engineering or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Prior experience with energy distribution projects.
• Proficiency in checking and drafting technical documentation and manuals.
• Ability to craft technical reports and test plans.
• A creative, positive mindset with strong communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, critical, committed, and results-driven.
• Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
• Flexible, resilient, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
• Previous experience in data center environments is advantageous.
