Introductie

In Engine Development, our focus lies on heavy-duty diesel and hydrogen engines, along with aftertreatment systems. Our aim is to deliver top-tier products in the transportation industry, emphasizing environmental friendliness, cost-effectiveness, and reliability The System Function Design team within the department is tasked with defining new engines and aftertreatment systems, covering aspects like emissions, performance, and OBD. To accommodate the increasing number of projects and technological advancements, we seek a highly qualified candidate.

Functieomschrijving

• Act as the technical expert for heavy-duty diesel and hydrogen engines, focusing on developing the SCR system including urea supply.
• Define and document system-related requirements to meet higher-level objectives such as legal emissions standards, OBD diagnostics, and reliability, engaging stakeholders as needed.
• Formulate proposals for SCR development considering factors like fuel efficiency, cost-effectiveness, reliability, diagnostics, and controls.
• Lead proposals throughout the development process to establish system requirements, gathering insights, conclusions, and boundary conditions.
• Establish FMEA, develop and implement risk mitigation plans, and oversee necessary actions.
• Manage and track the timing and quality of work package deliverables to align with project milestones.
• Address field-related issues concerning SCR and urea supply.
• Develop a system technology roadmap for future projects and Advanced Technology initiatives.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

• Hold a Master's degree in Automotive Technology or Mechanical Engineering.
• Possess 5+ years of expertise in SCR and Urea Supply domain, with a focus on tailpipe emissions, OBD, and associated hardware.
• Demonstrate strong technical acumen, adept at identifying core issues efficiently and pragmatically.
• Have experience leading technical teams and engaging in system-level engineering tasks such as presenting, planning, creating technology roadmaps, and managing stakeholders.
• Previous involvement in developing aftertreatment systems for production, emphasizing emissions, performance, and OBD.
• Mandatory Six Sigma experience, including FMEA setup, DMAIC, fishbone analysis, boundary and P-diagrams.Familiarity with DNG and Plato tools is advantageous.
• Proficient in English communication.
• Initiative: Drive continuous improvement in engine emissions and performance.
• Cooperation: Facilitate collaboration among engineers from diverse disciplines.
• Result orientation: Efficient planning and timely delivery of objectives.
• Analytical capacity: Synthesize information from various sources effectively.
