Looking for an Lead Engineer Electrical with proven experience in managing and supervising interface and system engineers! In this role, you will work for the Electrical Engineering team for data centres. Do you have experience with low- and medium-voltage switchgear and  transformers, and are you looking for the next step in your career?

Functieomschrijving

As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will oversee the engineering and implementation of projects within the data center industry's power distribution domain. You will be accountable for devising the technical solutions and ensuring their timely and budgeted execution. This role entails collaborating with the Electrical Engineering team dedicated to data centers, comprising approximately 20 engineers.

• Supervising Interface and System engineers responsible for detailed engineering under the Lead Engineer's oversight.
• Managing engineering, manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of power distribution systems like medium- and low-voltage switchgear, transformers, power distribution units, bus bar systems, digital protection, automation and monitoring systems, and modular solutions such as E-Houses and Skids.
• Ensuring functional alignment and realization of various designs and disciplines within agreed budgets and schedules.
• Acting as the technical point of contact for clients, advising them, and coordinating designs and stakeholders.
• Overseeing factory testing, attending customer meetings, and coordinating site work as necessary.

Wat verwachten we van jou?

• 7+ years experience as Electrical (Lead) Engineer
• Bachelor or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering
• Practical and theoretical experience with low- and medium-voltage switchgear, transformers, short-circuit and selectivity calculations and standards such as IEC 61439
• Experience in preparing technical reports and test plans
• Experience in working in a team and managing and coaching engineers
